For months we have been talking to you about the long-awaited update for Windows 11 that many have dreamed of installing on their computers as soon as possible. We are referring specifically to what is known as 24H2, which many of you already have running on your computers at full capacity.
This is a long-awaited update that reaches the most recent version of Microsoft’s operating system just a few days ago and which has been talked about for quite some time. As it could not be otherwise, it arrives full of functions and new features that will delight Windows system users. But the problem comes from the constant bugs that are being found in this new version.
Since its launch just a few weeks ago, the long-awaited Windows 11 update has presented multiple types of errors on all types of its users’ computers. Some have found failures in multimedia systems for the reproduction of both videos and audios. Multiple games do not work, various connection devices also start to fail after updating. And that’s not all, as 24H2 even causes complete operating system crashes and blue screens of death.
Hence, many of those who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of this desired update for Windows 11 are now regretting having installed it. For many users around the world it has become a real nightmare. Precisely for this reason they are seriously considering taking a step back and returning to the previous version of the Microsoft operating system.
In the event that you have reached this circumstance that we mentioned and you want to return to a previous version of Windows 11, now we are going to give you a hand.
How to go back to a previous version of Windows 11
Some of you may think that this is a much more complicated task than it actually is. And we can carry out this process that we are telling you about practically automatically, something simple, even if we do not have much knowledge of the Microsoft operating system. The company is fully aware of the possible problems that some of its updates may cause, as is the case in the case at hand.
Hence, it provides us with a useful integrated tool to take a step back and return to a previous version of Windows. This is something that we can do from the Settings application that, for example, we open using the Win + I key combination. Once we have this tool on the screen, we go to the section called System and locate the section that says Options recovery.
From there we just have to follow the configuration wizard that will appear on the screen to install the previous version of the Windows 11 system, in this case the one called 23H2. Once we have the previous version, all we have to do is wait for Microsoft itself to solve all the bugs detected in 24H2 to reinstall it after a few weeks, or even months.
