One of the best examples are games, with a notable variety of titles that are available on Android, but due to their characteristics they will never reach computers. When support disappears in 2025, users will be left unable to access these games and will have to go back to using them only on their mobile or not even having access to them.
Another reason is that there are many Android applications that are more functional, efficient and perform better than the Windows versions themselves. There are those who talk about Apple Music, a tool that Apple has never made an effort to develop really efficiently on Windows, with the mobile edition of Android being much more recommended. It is not an isolated case, but there are other similar examples.
There are also people who say that they decided to buy Surface family devices, such as the Surface Pro 9 5G, because of their ability to install Android applications. For these people, Microsoft’s decision will mean a drastic change in the way they use their devices, which will clearly generate a lot of anger. Unfortunately, at the moment Microsoft has not responded in this regard and, according to what is said, could not turn back. The main reason that is discussed unofficially is that Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) would not be generating Microsoft enough income to continue maintaining its presence.
