Keep your Kodi libraries always up to date
So that you can get a more approximate idea of ​​what we are talking about, say that we are going to make use of a complement that is in the repository itself that the multimedia center provides us. Therefore, to install it and add it to the program as such, all we have to do is go to Add-ons / Install from repository. Next, we position ourselves in the Program Add-ons section, where we only have to locate the complement called Library Auto Update.
In the new window that appears we will have the possibility to add the complement through the Install button. As you can imagine, once we have installed this add-on on Kodi, it is already in charge of automatically updating our content libraries. In addition, it includes some interesting additional functions that will help us customize this procedure.
For example, we will have the possibility of programming the time intervals between each of the updates thanks to the timer that it proposes. At the same time, we will have the possibility of establishing a specific route so that the content libraries are updated, and this will not be carried out if we are playing something at that moment. This way we avoid uncomfortable cuts while we are watching our favorite movies. In addition, it is a totally reliable and safe complement since, as we have told you before, it is part of the multimedia center’s own repository.
