We review some of the main new features that Lenovo has presented in its presence at CES 2024, the main consumer electronics fair in the world. With AI as its flagship, the manufacturer aims to give extra productivity to its customers.
The Chinese technology company has presented at CES 2024, which is being held in Las Vegas, a complete line of more than 40 new devices and solutions powered by AI, including PCs from the Yoga, ThinkBook, ThinkPad, ThinkCentre and Legion subbrands. Also two new proof-of-concept products, a tablet, a software application, Motorola AI features, accessories and more.
New Yoga laptops with AI from Lenovo
Lenovo remains committed to its “AI for everyone” philosophy. The Chinese technology company aims, as part of its vision of AI for All, to boost productivity in all its ranges of new products for home and work.
For example, the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence are manifested in a selection of Yoga laptops with AI that accelerate the creative process. These include the Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone, a complete suite that offers image generation based on text descriptions or visual sketches without the need for complex instructions, code or assembly. Users of the new Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i and Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 will only have to write what they want to see (if they want using the Lenovo Smart Pen) and the system will create a visual representation instantly.
This new generation of AI-powered laptops feature the Lenovo AI Core chip, which powers robust AI functionality, and Lenovo X Power, a machine learning-powered tuning solution that enhances creative tasks like 3D rendering and video color correction. allocating processing capacity to optimize performance, battery life and cooling efficiency. Both next-generation Yoga models feature Copilot Key, which provides quick access to the AI assistant.
The Lenovo Yoga family is completed with four additional new laptops: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i, Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i, Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 and Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, whose predecessor was the world’s first laptop with dual full-size OLED displays. Computers improved by Artificial Intelligence
Lenovo has also announced new ThinkBook products, ThinkCentre desktop PCs and accessories for the small and medium business segment with innovative features, intelligent designs and AI enhancements.
For example, the new ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid, a hybrid of laptop and tablet, with a hybrid experience between Windows and Android systems. We also have the example of the ThinkBook 13x Gen 4, it is an Intel Evo Edition laptop with extraordinary battery life. The ThinkBook 14 i Gen 6+ is a powerful, versatile and smart laptop, with an amazing 3K panel up to 14.5 inches and the ThinkBook 16p Gen 5 combines capacity and elegance and has support for the new Magic Bay Studio and incorporates a 4K camera and integrated speakers.
We cannot lose sight of the ThinkCentre neo Ultra either, which exploits the latest technological advances to offer a new generation of PC with AI and ultra-small form factor, or the ThinkCentre neo 50a Gen 5 all-in-one desktop computer, which will be available in 24- and 27-inch form factors.

Tablet for students and artists
Another of Lenovo’s great novelties presented at CES 2024 has been the Lenovo Tab M11 tablet, defined as a key device for leisure aimed at students, film lovers and artists.
Equipped with the new Lenovo Tab Pen, a useful stylus that provides an uncompromising writing, drawing and design experience, the tablet comes preloaded with premium software that enhances its use, including Nebo to convert handwriting to text, MyScript Calculator 2 to solve equations and functions in real time and WPS Office to quickly view and edit any document.
New proofs of concept
Lenovo has taken advantage of its presence at CES 2024 to present two unique proof-of-concept devices. The Mechanical Energy Harvesting Combo is a product that uses mechanical movement and solar irradiation to power the mouse and keyboard, eliminating the need for external charging. The mouse and keyboard have an ergonomic design that maximizes user comfort and enjoyment. The product also supports Bluetooth and 2.4G wireless connection modes to ensure fast connectivity with multiple devices. This proof-of-concept product represents an innovative solution aligned with Lenovo’s commitment to implementing more sustainable practices.
Furthermore, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE is also a proof of concept that leads the laptop cover trend with intelligent color customization using Lenovo hardware and software solutions and algorithms, and leveraging E Ink Prism technology.
