In the market we can find different electricity rates that, if adapted to our needs, can mean significant savings on our bill. We tell you which are the best options according to the OCU.

Immersed in the middle of winter, find the electricity rate The one that best suits our needs can translate into savings of several hundred euros. However, given the wide variety of rates that we can currently find on the market, identifying which is the best option is not always easy. Even more so if we take into account that, as the OCU says on its own website, “sometimes” the companies “they advertise little or nothing” your best offers. Therefore, we will not always be able to access the offers that we are going to show you below by going to a physical store to inform us.

Furthermore, if we are clients, it is likely that we do not know of their existence either, since in most cases they are reserved for ccampaigns to attract new registrations. Below, we select the three best options that the previously mentioned organization has identified.

Nufri Energy

First of all, the OCU introduces us to Nufri Energy. This company offers several discount codes which allow us to lower all the rates found on their website. With the Nufri25 code We will be able to save up to 25% on all your rates. However, there is another even better code: CN023. Using it, we will be able to enjoy even more attractive offers, especially after the price reduction carried out in January 2024.

We met with two very attractive rates, one that maintains the price 24 hours a day and another with three time slots. In both cases, without permanence:

Power:

  • Rush hour: €0.0079 / day (€29.19 per year) for each kWh contracted
  • Valley time: €0.033 / day (€12.16 per year) for each kWh contracted.

Trio Rate:

  • Rush hour: €0.162 for each kWh.
  • Flat time: €0.106 for each kWh.
  • Valley time: €0.096 for each kWh.

24 Hour Rate:

  • Price of €0.111 for each kWh.

Octopus Energy

Octopus Energy is another of the most interesting companies, especially thanks to its tarifa Octopus Solar. Initially, it is designed for homes with photovoltaic installations, however, it is also a good option for those families that do not have panels, but have high consumption. In this case, we must activate the “Solar” tab when contracting the rate. Furthermore, like the previous one, it has no permanence.

Power:

  • Rush hour: €0.074 / day (€27.01 per year) for each kWh contracted
  • Valley time: €0.008 / day (€2.92 per year) for each kWh contracted.

Solar Consumption:

  • Rush hour: €0.182 for each kWh
  • Flat time: €0.134 for each kWh.
  • Valley time: €0.085 for each kWh.

Clarity Energy

In this case, the OCU highlights that they have not yet reviewed the prices with the CPI, so it is possible that during the next few days, when the adjustment is carried out, the rates will change prices. In this case, the most interesting rate is Fixed Optimal Rate. These are the prices:

Power:

  • Peak hours: €29,190 / year for the contracted kW.
  • Valley hours: €14.51 / year for the contracted kW.

Consumption:

  • Rush hour: €0.159 for each kWh.
  • Flat time: €0.120 for each kWh.
  • Valley time: €0.089 for each kWh.

Customized rates

Once we have known what are the three most attractive rates, according to the OCUthe organization also affirms that some marketers avoid showing their rates publicly based on the justification that all their Offers are personalized. A system that “makes it difficult to compare consumers who are increasingly better informed”.

If we face this type of situation, the organization recommends that “review each of the phases (…) to verify that the offered price is correctly maintained
