How to make video calls on Instagram easily and quickly
To be able to start a video call on Instagram we are going to start from the app looking for the person or people with whom we want to talk. Remember that only from the mobile and Windows application it is possible to access all the functions.
Instagram allows you to make video calls individually or in groups. To make an individual call, we are going to enter the app. Tap in the top right to access conversations.
In case you do not have a previous conversation with that person, you can search for it with the username from the search bar that you have at the top of the screen.
Once inside the chat, touch the video camera button that you have at the top next to the username. When the other person accepts the call, you will be able to see their face on a shared screen.
If what you want is to make a group video call, you will enter the app. From the conversations, start by clicking on the video camera that you have on the right at the top of the screen.
It will take you to a contact list of people you follow. Scroll through the list or search for them by username from the search bar at the top of the screen.
As you choose the people you want to add, click on their name so that they have a light blue checkmark to their right. When you’re done, press “Start” in the top right.
