A few weeks ago, Vodafone gave its users some great news: it was eliminating temporary discounts and making them permanent. Since then, many of its customers have asked themselves the same question: how can we know if our promotion is going to be applied correctly from now on? In the MiVodafone app we have the answer.

The acquisition of Vodafone Spain Zegona has already hinted at some of the changes that the company plans to implement over the next few months, outlining what is expected to be the near future of the red operator. Over the last few weeks, we have already witnessed some of these changes, such as what happened with the discounts. Vodafone has decided to eliminate the temporary limitation of the discounts on the rates, making them permanent.

When Vodafone announced the change, The company also confirmed that this was a measure that would be implemented automatically among all its users. Despite this, and for the user’s peace of mind, the company has also enabled a new section in our app that will allow us to know the final price of our rate, taking into account the application of the offer that we have negotiated in the past.

The My Vodafone app has the answer

Once the first bills have been issued since this change came into effect, many of us have tried to find out how we can anticipate them in order to know the amount of the next bill even before it is issued. To do this, in the My Vodafone app, the red operator has enabled a new function called “Estimate of your next bill”. In this section, a message will appear confirming that, indeed, the amount of the next bill will be issued. temporary discount has become final. And, in addition, it will also inform us of the estimated amount which will be on our next bill.

Most of these discounts came from promotions or special offers that had been offered since the loyalty departments or cancellations when the customer has shown an intention to leave the company. A fairly common practice by mobile operators that Vodafone is now willing to eliminate in order to offer a better service to its customers from the outset, without having to get involved in negotiations after starting the process of changing companies.

If everything has been applied correctly, this section of our application can offer us a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, our recommendation is that we contact the Customer Service so that they can review what happened and offer us a solution.

Customer satisfaction

This has not been the only change we have witnessed in recent weeks. The red operator also reported that in its commitment to placing customer satisfaction as a central element of its strategy, from now on they will have a completely renewed customer service. Betting on accessibility, speed and personalization of attention from the first moment.

In Spain, the telecom sector Vodafone has faced a period of renewal in which we have witnessed a large number of movements that have completely changed the rules of the game. Now, once the changes are beginning to take hold, we are witnessing the different movements with which companies hope to differentiate themselves from their competitors. In the case of Vodafone, it seems that everything is about continuing to design policies that improve the user experience and the satisfaction of all its customers.
