As you have surely already heard, YouTube Premium is raising its prices in Spain and it does so with a rate that is more expensive than we would have imagined. Fortunately, there is a way you could save on the subscription for six months so you don’t have to suffer the price increase.
Although YouTube is the most consumed video platform in Spain, one that differs drastically from streaming services such as Netflix or Disney+, the truth is that its Premium subscription has never been the most successful. Therefore, the price change that has occurred in the last few hours may not be very positive. Six month offer
What Orange proposes is that you can enjoy the YouTube Premium subscription with a special price of only 5 euros per month for a period of six months. If we take into account that the previous cost was 11.99 euros per month without the operator’s offer and that it has now become 13.99 euros per month, there is no doubt that this promotion is really good. At the moment, Orange has not commented on whether or not it will change the price of its offer as a result of YouTube’s price increase.
This means that, today, the promotion is available at this cost and, barring any surprises, you should be able to benefit from six months for five euros. In any case, if Orange decided to increase the promotional cost, it may not grow too much either. At the end of the day, what the operator wants is for its clients to see the many benefits that exist when contracting their fiber and mobile services.
Keep in mind, however, that when those six promotional months pass, the price of the subscription will become the price that YouTube Premium has within Orange at that time. This means that you will not pay the full rate for the YouTube service, but rather the cost at which the operator is offering it to its customers. At the moment it is 10.99 euros per month, although, as we said, it could also be susceptible to increasing a little over time.
