Finding a stable job is not easy for anyone, and sometimes young people looking for their first job have it even more difficult. Therefore, leaving home and becoming emancipated is becoming more and more complicated, so all help is little.
The Government and some of the Autonomous Communities of our country sometimes launch certain benefits that cover multiple aspects of daily life. In these lines we are going to talk to you about one of these aids that we mentioned and that will help many to emancipate themselves and access their first home independently. Specifically, here we refer to the request for new aid focused on youth emancipation.
Called the Emantzipa Program, it is a benefit of 300 euros per month so that the youngest can access their first home and leave their parents’ nest. We tell you all this because just a few hours ago the deadline to make the corresponding requests both in person and via the Internet opened. Below we will talk to you about the requirements that you must meet to be able to access all of this.
Furthermore, first of all we must take into consideration that in order to access these 300 euros per month of aid that we mentioned, we will have to present certain documentation. Specifically, they are going to ask us for documents that officially prove the rental contract or the purchase of a home where we are going to live.
Requirements for this aid for renting or purchasing housing
First of all, we will tell you that the deadline for applying for the Emantzipa Program began on February 20, 2024. This is an initiative launched by the Basque Government aimed at facilitating access to housing for the youngest people in its territory. Specifically, the subsidy is monthly and as we mentioned before, it is 300 euros. This is a benefit designed to promote the independence of young people, and gives them the opportunity to buy or rent a home in the region. It is also important to know that this amount can be collected a maximum of 24 months from the request.
They will now have the opportunity to submit their applications and access this financial aid for those young people seeking independence. These are the requirements that must be met a priori:
- Be between 25 and 29 years old.
- The maximum number of inhabitants of that house will be 3 people.
- You must prove a rental or purchase contract for a home.
- Be registered in any municipality of the Basque Autonomous Community for at least one year before the application.
- The application will be denied to those young people who already have public housing for rent or ownership.
How to apply for help of 300 euros per month
