Today I am going to explain to you Apple’s disastrous response which, due to its rigid internal rules, only offers to carry out a repair valued at 650 euros for a simple glass of a few centimeters. Luckily, in an unofficial store they have made me the complete change for 39 euros.
When you buy an iPhone, you do it for many reasons, from the design to the performance of the equipment, going through the complete ecosystem of applications or the technical service. The next step is to go to an Apple Store for help, something that doesn’t quite go as well as one expects from a brand like the one with the bitten apple. The expert tells us that the problem can be solved, but that it is necessary to change the entire back of the terminal. This would mean a disbursement of 650 euros.
The problem is that changing the back costs 50% of the value of the terminal, something totally crazy in my opinion. We are not doubting that this may be the cost of repair in case of having to change internal components, but a simple back cover cannot have this exorbitant price.
Luckily, everything has a solution and I just had to find another store specialized in repairing mobile phones. In this case I went to Zooo who charged me 39 euros for the repair and changed the camera glass in just 1 hour. What Apple made it difficult for me to solve and wanted to charge me 650 euros has been fixed by a simple mobile repair shop in less time and for less money. It’s to make you look at it.
