This fulfills one of the biggest requests that anime fans have had for a long time. There was already a season in which Comedy Central was asked to broadcast the anime and there was a trending topic on Twitter that made it clear what the viewers’ wishes were. Now, finally, the news has been confirmed. And it is something excellent, since it marks the return to television of an anime that has the capacity to please both otakus and the little ones in the house and even adults who like pirate adventures.

That’s what all the followers of Luffy, Zoro and company want to know. Because the story of One Piece in Spain is quite dramatic, having only been dubbed over 260 episodes. The success of the series was not what was expected and it ended up leaving the schedule of the channel where it was broadcast. That left fans with the only possibility of watching the anime subtitled in Spanish and in the original version. Over the years, as you surely know, One Piece has continued on screen. Currently, it has more than 1,000 episodes, so if it were to be successful on Comedy Central, it could guarantee that they would have a megahit on the air for many years.
Of course, for that to happen we still have to wait. First, we will have to see how the audience responds to the broadcast of the first episodes in Spanish. With more than 260 chapters, it is obvious that there is anime for a while before the channel has to start considering something about the future of its broadcast. But if all goes well, who knows if this would be the turning point at which the rest of the episodes would begin to bend? Another possibility would be that it was completely redubbed from the first chapter, even using the voices of the actors who dub the characters in the Netflix series. In general, there are many options.
