Google Calendar started in 2006 and they have gained fame over the years and have made it easy for us to create events with reminders. These events can be private or public so that we can share it with our contacts and they can confirm such attendance.

Connect files to a Google Calendar event
Google Sheets gives us an extension called FastCalendar which allows us to connect a spreadsheet to our calendar. This great extension will allow us to more quickly enter the information that we will use to create our events and then easily transfer them when selected with a single button.
Calendar will allow us to export the events of all your calendar that appear in a list called “My Calendars” which we will share with another account created and linked in Google Gmail. From this other authorized account it will allow us to edit the files attached to the events that we have previously created and share them.
Several sites bring the option to export event as an ICS file so that it can be imported through a web calendar. In Firefox it offers us three options: Open Windows calendar, save file so that it is later saved on our PC and start a section in Google Calendar where we will import the ICS files.
Calendar will give us a great keyboard shortcut like C to create a new event, or by pressing Shift. This will open a floating window that will allow you to create an event without the need to leave the main Calendar screen, giving us a comfortable and practical method to organize ourselves.
If we accidentally delete an event in Calendar, the Google Calendar trash can offers an opportunity to recover our event. When editing an event through your computer, you can press Ctrl-Z, it will allow you to undo any errant action, being very useful for all kinds of people, especially companies.
If you can’t attend an event, Calendar allows you to transfer ownership of the event so that it can take place in your absence, you write the email address of the person in charge. New events usually only last a few hours but you can customize the default duration of the event you want to set.
How to attach files to a Google Calendar event?
Today the American company Google provides us with a wide variety of services and among them we find Google Calendar. This service will allow us to record appointments, pending tasks and then send us a notification, we can even create events and share them with our synchronized contacts through our Google Gmail account.
Google Calendar has different functions to organize our meetings, events, trips, special days where you can attach images and reports from Google Drive that will allow us to view them in slide mode. Using Google Calendar in our work makes it easier for us to share information in our meetings with our co-workers.
We will be able to increase the visualization and the information density occupying less space by clicking on the upper right part where we will select information density to change it to “Compact”. In the Google Calendar menu we will find the option to stop showing weekend events.
Having several calendars in our account can be useful but some calendars are not important enough to be seen all the time. If you want to have a better standard arrangement showing more important events you go to options in the left bar and select “Set custom view” to be able to configure it as you wish.
If one of your contacts decides to share their event with you, you can take a look at it while you customize your new event. While you take a look and you need to send a message to all the guests of the event, you will find an icon below the header, by pressing it you can compose a message for the guests.
Finally, we must bear in mind that Google Calendar offers very innovative options. Just as it is also possible to place Google Calendar on the desktop of the PC. This way it will be easier to access it.
