Mediaset joins forces with DAZN to bring Formula 1 to Spain for free

Telecinco will be in charge of broadcasting the entire Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix: including free practice, qualifying and the race that will take place next Sunday, June 23.

Mediaset España has confirmed having reached a agreement with DAZN, holder of the rights to this sport in our country, to be able to broadcast the entire Grand Prix openly. This includes not only the race, but also free practice and qualifying.

It will be the fourth consecutive year that fans will be able to enjoy open this open competition. A new confirmation by Mediaset of its commitment to bringing the premier category of international motorsport closer to all Spanish spectators at zero cost.

Complete Grand Prix

Mediaset will make the entire Grand Prix available to its viewers. On Friday the 21st we will attend free practice with a double session, as usual. Although, in this case, the designated channel is BeMad. On Saturday, June 22, the programming will move to Telecinco, where we will be able to enjoy the third free practice session and, subsequently, the classification that will order the starting positions for the race, held on Sunday, June 23 on the same channel.

The news comes at a good time for Spanish Formula 1 drivers. Just a few weeks ago, Fernando Alonso’s renewal with Aston Martin was officially announced, with a multi-year contract that will allow us to see him on the grid for a few more years. Carlos Sainz, for his part, continues to give his followers one of the best starts to the season he has ever had, after having overcome his recent medical intervention. Although it is still unknown where the Madrid native will race next season, since his contract with Ferrari ends at the end of this season, he is performing at an excellent level.

An agreement with DAZN

In Spain, as we have previously anticipated, the rights to broadcast Formula 1 belong to DAZN.
