Finding a good fiber, mobile or convergent rate offer may be possible. However, there are times when we will not find much offer, promotion or discount. Although, for that, there are the second brands of the large operators, also known as low cost operators. As is the case with Movistar and O2, or Vodafone and Lowi.
The first brands offer all kinds of services, while the cheap brands of these operators focus on offering customers and future customers lower prices, but always with the best speed services, mobile connection, etc. But are O2 or Lowi really worth it?

Inside O2 and Lowi, prices are generally lower. Both for your fiber and mobile rates, as well as for those Internet or mobile rates separately. To give you an idea, we are going to make a small comparison between their prices with Movistar and Vodafone:
Movistar vs. o2
If we are looking for a cheap convergent rate, our best option is O2. More than anything, because the cheapest option from Movistar already exceeds 55 euros. On the other hand, in the low cost brand, we can have fiber and mobile from 35 euros. In addition, the fiber-only option with 300 Mbps is also cheaper at O2, it costs 27 euros, compared to 29.90 euros for Movistar. And, in both operators, there is no type of permanence.
And if we look at mobile lines, there is an option that may interest us from Movistar, its 8 GB Unlimited Contract mobile rate, since it is a rate with unlimited data for only 14.95 euros. Even so, O2 maintains lower prices. In addition, in both operators the mobile rates are 5G. Therefore, if we do not want to pay more, this operator is a good choice.
Vodafone vs. lowi
The same thing that happens between Movistar and o2, we can see it between Vodafone and Lowi. This second brand also has lower prices. For example, Vodafone’s cheapest contract mobile rate does not fall below 16 euros, while for less than 8 euros we have 12 GB cumulative and unlimited calls.
The only drawback we found is that Lowi, for now, does not have 5G. Instead, Vodafone does offer this mobile connection. Returning to the positive for Lowi, we find another point in favor of permanence. More than anything, because the permanence when contracting a rate with fiber is only 3 months, compared to the year of permanence that we would have to comply with Vodafone. Therefore, if we are looking for low prices and good fiber speed or cheap mobile rates, Lowi is a very good alternative.
O2 or Lowie?
In this case, it also depends on the service that we are going to hire. For example, in fiber and mobile prices both operators share more or less prices. However, in the case of O2, the fiber is without permanence and, in addition, it adds a fixed line at no additional cost. While Lowi has 3 months permanence for the fiber and does not have a landline.
Another service that Lowi does not have, but does offer O2 is the option to purchase mobile devices or tablets. Although, at the moment, the catalog of devices is very small, we barely found 12 different options. As for only fiber, Lowi wins since it offers two rates, while O2 only one. Although, by price, we have already been warning that they are similar. In the case of mobile lines, Vodafone’s second brand is once again ahead, having four rates, compared to O2’s two. However, customers with a mobile line at O2 have 5G.
Do they have television?
Another point that we must take into account is that, if we want a fiber and mobile phone pack with television, we will have to resort to the Movistar and Vodafone options. In both operators we find TV packages with television channels, in addition to other packs that add subscriptions to streaming platforms, such as Disney + or Netflix.
However, if we want a TV package with O2 or Lowi, unfortunately, at the moment, they don’t have a choice. More than anything, because they would be competing directly against Movistar and Vodafone. Therefore, these low cost brands focus on cheaper combined rates to continue attracting customers.
