One of the things we least want on vacation is, without a doubt, packing. We don’t always know what to put in the suitcase and we don’t always get it right with the luggage. For this reason, there are applications that help us keep everything organized. Applications to pack a suitcase that allow us to know everything we have to take with us and cross out as we do it and that will help us not to forget anything.
Apps to pack your suitcase that you can download on an Android mobile or an iOS mobile if you want to prepare your next trip and don’t know where to start. Choose your destination, temperature, activities and days and let the software be in charge of telling you what to put in.
PackPoint: Packing List
It is one of the most useful and interesting that we can have, although you must pay 3.29 euros for it on Android. It is very complete and almost does the suitcase for you. The application allows us to register a new trip in which we have to put the destination, the date, the duration of the stay and the type of trip. We can select the activities that we will do there: swimming, hiking, elegant dinner, beach, snow sports, international, running, working… Once you have it, you create your trip and the application makes a list of everything you have to take with you .
Thanks to the fact that it is able to see the temperature that it will be in that place and thanks to the data that you have given them about the activities, it will add a series of things to the suitcase. A list divided by type (basic, toiletry bag…) and with all the items. Also, you can manually add what you want to the list so you don’t forget. Once you are putting things in the suitcase, we are checking the list of the application to know that we have put it.
It is a very comfortable and practical option that helps us not to forget anything if we tend to be a disaster. The only drawback is that it was a free application and now we have to pay for its use, but it will be worth it if you travel regularly. And it allows you to share the packing list with other users or people so they don’t forget anything.
PackKing – Packing List
Although it is less popular than the previous one, it fulfills the same function and is very similar. The good thing is that it is free. This application allows us to design a packing list by choosing the type of vehicle we are going to take, what the weather will be like and what you need the luggage for according to the activities. You can choose between trips by plane, by car, on a motorcycle, cruise… It also allows us to choose according to the weather: cold, temperate, hot, hot, rain. And finally, as in the previous case, we choose the activities that we are going to do: swimming, beach, tourism, hiking, partying, international, photography, surfing, baby, etc.
When we have it, it will create the list in different categories: clothing, hygiene, health, documents, essential, beach, party, international, devices… In each section we will find the different items and we can add new ones or mark them that we have already put in the suitcase so we don’t forget anything. We can choose the number of shirts, shorts or long pants and edit each item to suit our needs.
The app is free but has limitations when it comes to creating a list. To bypass the limitations we can use the premium version that allows you to create unlimited packing lists, copy and restart lists as many times as you want, export them or remove advertising.
Closet+
If you have iOS, Closet+ is a good option, although it’s not like the previous ones, but what it does is organize your closet. You can plan the outfits and combinations thanks to the fact that the app allows us to take photos of our clothes and be able to combine them as we want. So we can organize the suitcase as we like.
It is not designed for luggage but to organize what we wear every day, the clothes we have. We can upload photos of everything and add them to the calendar to keep track or to organize for the future.
