So, so that you don’t have to zap on your own, here you can see all the channels that have been released until May on Movistar Plus+.

One of the main characteristics of this TV service is the constant release of new channels for its customers. And all with the aim that users can enjoy more content through Movistar Plus+. This same year, this platform has been filled with new dials. But what are the new channels of 2024?

DTT channels in HD

Among the main new features that are present for this year in Movistar Plus+ are the DTT channels in HD. After leaving aside SD quality in digital terrestrial television, the operator’s TV platform has also changed the resolution of the vast majority of its channels that were seen in standard quality.

Movistar Plus+ channels

And although the majority are already in HD on the Movistar Plus+ channel grid, there are still a few dials that continue to be seen in SD. For example, among the DTT channels in high definition that you can already find on this platform are Paramount Network on dial 36, Energy on dial 48, FDF on dial 49, Divinity on dial 95 or Boing on dial 117 , among others.

Flash channels for sports

In the Movistar television service, a new format has been launched, similar to the Multi Cinema channels, but which is constantly maintained, although the content is renewed. These are the ‘Flash’ channels, which only broadcast sports. Up to 4 channels are available on Movistar Plus:

  • FLASH Sports on dial 81.
  • FLASH Football on dial 222.
  • FLASH Basketball on dial 223.
  • FLASH Tennis on dial 224.

Flash Sports channel on Movistar+

On the Flash Sports channel you can follow all kinds of competitions from different sports. However, the other three Flash dials are exclusively dedicated to what their name suggests, be it football, basketball or tennis. Therefore, only those disciplines can be enjoyed. These dials are available on the operator’s UHD decoder.

For streaming platforms and other content

With the arrival of new streaming platforms, the operator has also left room for its dials. In this case, for example, there is the case of SkyShowtime. Not only can you see its content on Movistar Plus+, but it also has a channel available: on dial 29. It is accessible to fiber / ADSL-only customers as it appears in the blue operator’s channel catalog.

SkyShowtime on Movistar Plus+

In addition to the SkyShowtime channel, Movistar’s TV platform launched the Star Channel, which came as a substitute for the legendary Fox. Available on dial 38 of the Movistar Plus+ grid and with a completely renewed image. Just like on dial 15 you can see different thematic channels every month.

And the Multi Cinema channels?

In this case, it must be taken into account that these are thematic channels with more cinema that the operator is constantly changing. Therefore, Movistar Plus+ renews the dials from 200 to 209 on its grid month by month. The 10 channels are not always completely changed, but other options with new content are added every month. So you have to be attentive at the end and beginning of each month to be aware of the news. Furthermore, these dials are only available in the deco and for those customers with the contracted cinema pack.
