The O2 customer area on its official website has been renewed. And it is that, not all users are very friends with the mobile app. For this very reason, the low cost operator of Movistar has wanted to make a significant change in its web version, so that its clients have each of the same functions that are found in the application.
Gone will be the days when every O2 customer had to resort to the app if they wanted to have access to all the features. And, from now on, the web also includes the same functions as the mobile application. So you can, among other things, make a rate change, contract a new line or even report a fault.
My O2 is already the same as the app
If you are a client of the Telefónica operator, you will now be able to enjoy the same advantages as those users who use the mobile app. More than anything, because the O2 website has been renewed. Well, more like your personal My O2 area. In this way, you will have at your fingertips the same functionalities that we previously found only in its application.
When you are in the customer area, you will find the content found in the My O2 app. This is how they are arranged:
-
Home: here you will be able to see all the products you have contracted, such as your rate. In addition, you will be able to access the consumption made in each of the lines, as well as the activation of services such as shared data or extra data bonuses, among others.
-
Invoices: in this section you will have the invoices available. You can view and download them in PDF. And also, you have the option to pay unpaid invoices.
-
Rates: in this section you will be able to make a rate change or contract additional products.
-
Devices: gives you access to the O2 catalog to hire mobile devices.
-
Support: gives your customers the possibility to directly report a technical incident and follow up on it. In addition, you will find information about our service channels, direct access to WhatsApp or email.
-
Profile: from this section, you will have the possibility to modify certain personal data, such as a bank account number for bill collection or a password change.
I don’t have access, how do I register?
As a customer, you will be able to access this particular section. However, you have to register in advance. If you could previously access the app, then you only have to use the same personal data: NIF/CIF/NIE and password. On the other hand, if you have never entered the O2 customer area, you must register.
To do this, you have to click on ‘Register here’. Next, write your identity document, without spaces, in addition to the telephone number. If in your case it is not yet active or you only have contracted a fiber rate, write the telephone number that you gave to the operator when contracting their services. Afterwards, you will receive an SMS with a security code that you will have to enter on the web to complete the registration and log in to the My O2 personal area.
