More and more users are opting to make deep changes to the default interface of the Windows system. This can affect key elements such as the taskbar or the Start menu that Microsoft offers us by default.

Furthermore, the installation process is not as simple as that of a normal application. This is because a Windows 7 image file is required to obtain the files and components necessary to launch it. Therefore, we recommend that you try the application in a virtual machine with Windows 11 to assess whether it is worth it for you.
In this way, the most nostalgic and those who still miss the beloved Windows 7, will be able to recover elements such as the Start menu on the taskbar in the current Windows 11. The truth is that the design is quite well done; however, we can find important malfunctions in the operating system in general.
Therefore, as we mentioned before, in this case we do not recommend installing this program by default on the Windows 11 computer that you usually use. You will always have the opportunity to use a virtual machine to test the open source application that we are discussing and detect any possible errors that may occur.
In fact, this is quite common in some projects of this type that are responsible for customizing the appearance and interface of the latest versions of Windows. We must be careful if we plan to use these applications on our regular computers.
