With Xiaomi we are used to finding practically any type of gadget and device in stores. This time it is not a revolutionary device as they have done on other occasions, but rather they have launched a new router. If we speak in general terms, they claim that the router is capable of providing speeds of up to 5,011 Mbps, so it could be a good tool to take into account.

There is a lot to say about this Xiaomi BE5000, such as that it has three Gigabit network ports and one 2.5G, as well as the ability to take advantage of its two frequency bands simultaneously. This is an important point, since it will benefit the users who use it by reducing latency and improving the level of stability of the connections.
Not only that, but the manufacturer adds an additional extra so that latency disappears: its Xrange 2.0 system. All of this has the objective of improving the experience of users who enjoy activities where it is advisable not to suffer latency problems, such as gaming sessions. As could be imagined taking into account the company’s interests today, the router is also prepared to squeeze the potential of smart home devices. For now, only its launch has been announced for China, where it will arrive soon at a price of about 40 euros in exchange. It is expected that, taking into account that Xiaomi has launched other of its routers in Europe, it will do the same with this model. The decision may depend on the impact it will have on its main market, although we have the feeling that it will be received with open arms. After all, it provides good performance, has quality features and its price is very well adjusted. Not to mention that its dimensions of 271.9 x 40.9 x 220.8 mm make it a good-sized router that more than one user would surely like to have in their home.
