There is no longer a need for an antenna on the roof of the house to have a signal for the channels. It is enough to have an Internet connection. There are many streaming services that give you access to television programming for free, such as Pluto TV or Tivify. This last platform has just expanded its list of channels so that audiovisual entertainment is guaranteed.

From Tivify we can enjoy a wide variety of DTT channels, but not only that. It also gives access to local, regional and other country chains. In total, the company boasts of having more than 200 free-to-air channels (the offer is even greater with the Plus and Premium plan).

Tivify’s free catalog is enormous and, in addition, they do not stop implementing new channels to their offer. Recently, the company has surprised us with two additions focused on information, and with programs of all kinds, from series to documentaries. Both newly added networks are courtesy of Bloomberg, an American financial advisory, software, data and stock media company that, among other things, delivers related news through television, radio, the Internet and print publications.

What to expect from the new Tivify channels?

The information chains that Tivify has implemented in its free catalog are Bloomberg and Bloomberg Originals. The first can be found on dial 250, while the second will be available on dial 258. That is the free ordering, although if you have a payment plan you can change the number in which the chains are found.

If what we are interested in is staying updated on news related to finances and the economy, Bloomberg is a good option. On this channel, we will see market analysis, interviews with financial analysts and businessmen, current affairs related to the financial world… Everything is in English, but its financial content is very complete and is ideal for those interested in this topic.

For its part, Bloomberg Original offers more diverse content, although it is also largely related to the economy. In its programming, we find current affairs, finances, technology and culture. In addition, this channel has original series and documentaries.

How to watch free Tivify channels?

Both chains are available in Tivify’s free plan. Therefore, you will not have to pay to watch Bloomberg programs on dials 250 and 258. The channels are enabled to be put on your mobile phone, tablet or Smart TV. Additionally, if you have a conventional TV, but use Chromecast, Fire TV, or a similar streaming device, you can install Tivify there as well.

The option that is free has advertising, more than 200 free-to-air channels and program restarts. Likewise, it allows you to be logged in on up to three devices at the same time, but only one simultaneous view. In case you are interested in having more content available and exclusive functions, Tivify has two payment rates:

  • Tivify Plus (2.99 euros per month or 29.99 euros per year). Fewer ads, more than 200 free-to-air channels, Mediaset and Atresmedia channels, program restarts, program control, access to the last 7 days, recordings of up to 150 hours for 30 days. Plus, it has dial ordering and Chromecast playback. In short, it accepts up to five linked devices at a time, although only one simultaneous display.
  • Tivify Premium (7.99 euros per month and without annual payment option). This plan has everything that comes with the Tivify Plus rate, but it comes with more things. For example, it lacks advertising, has more premium channels and allows you to enjoy its content with up to two views at a time with a single account.
