When does Spain play in the Davis Cup

The final phase of the tournament will start today, November 19at the Marín Carpena Sports Palace, in Malaga. The match between the Spanish national team and the Netherlands is scheduled for 5 p.m. However, this does not mean that we can see Nadal in action. And it has not yet been confirmed who will be the player chosen by the team led by David Ferrer.

Everything indicates that the decision for this first meeting will be between Rafael Nadal himself or, failing that, Roberto Bautista, number 46 in the world in the ATP ranking. Normally, the International Tennis Federation informs the media of the chosen tennis players shortly before the start of the match. Therefore, Rafa Nadal’s presence could be confirmed between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. today. Although they could also bring it forward sooner, given the expectation that exists to see the one from Manacor.

In the event that, finally, the balance tips in favor of Roberto Bautista, we would still have the option of seeing Nadal in a second match. Probably, in a hypothetical doubles match. Although, again, this information would also remain to be confirmed.
