The iPhone SE are mid-range smartphones that Apple started releasing for those who couldn’t afford its premium phones. The first generation arrived in 2016 and rumors suggest that the fourth will be released in 2025.

However, that’s not the only teaser that famed leaker Ice Universe has given about the iPhone SE 4. Apple’s next affordable phone will be larger, have a similar design to the iPhone 14, and will be more expensive than previous versions.

The leak that has been shared on Weibo Ice Universe reports that the new iPhone SE will feature an aluminum frame and an OLED display instead of the Retina HD of the third generation. This will be 6.06 inches, considerably larger than the 4.7″ of the previous one.
Regarding its refresh rate, it is 60 Hz. The same as the iPhone SE 3. That is one of its biggest handicaps, since Apple users have become accustomed to the 120 Hz of the brand’s high-end smartphones.
However, the fourth generation of Apple’s budget phones will feature the A18 chip. That is, they will have the same processor as the iPhone 17. This is very good news, since it guarantees that they will have the artificial intelligence of Jeff Bezos’ company at a more affordable price.
There are two RAM options. One is 6 GB, which is cheaper, and the other is 8 GB, which is more expensive. Of course, the second option will be better, as it will provide more space to store the information we use at the moment. This will make it easier to open many programs quickly and run several processes simultaneously without performance issues.
The rear camera will only have one lens. That may be short for those of us who have become accustomed to a module with several. However, Apple stands out for providing enviable photographic quality and the 48 megapixels that the iPhone SE 4 lens will have are sure to impress and will not disappoint us.
