Movistar Plus+ continues to expand content and from now on will directly allow the contracting of a streaming service specialized in productions in Spanish. Those who have UHD deco with the blue operator will be able to subscribe without leaving the Telefónica television platform.
FlixOlé has already been on Movistar Plus+ since last December, but now the integration is complete and anyone can subscribe to the service without having to leave Movistar Plus+.
FlixOlé is fully integrated into M+
Movistar Plus+ customers who have the UHD decoder will be able to see how they can register directly in FlixOlé and manage their subscription thanks to the new application available in the platform’s carousel.
In this way, the integration of a streaming platform that was added to the Movistar Plus+ catalog at the end of last year now goes one step further and allows its contracting directly without the need for any other device.
In addition to this, the integration of the FlixOlé app makes the platform’s main search engine able to display content available on this streaming service. The FlixOlé catalog is made up mainly of Spanish film titles and series. Specifically, there are some 4,000 contents between remastered classics, contemporary works, as well as numerous unknown jewels and collections that cover a large part of our country’s cinematography. All this at a monthly price of 3.99 euros.
This complete integration coincides with the launch of several collections that collect some of the most popular titles on the platform. For example, Cine quinqui, where fans of the genre will find titles like Navajeros (Eloy de la Iglesia, 1980), Chocolate (Gil Carretero, 1980), Hurry, quickly (Carlos Saura, 1981), Yo, el vaquilla (José A. De la Loma, 1985) and a long etcetera.
It also has an extensive list of major Hollywood and European productions, directed by names like Orson Welles, Alfred Hitchcock, Sidney Lumet, David Lean, Max Ophüls, Luchino Visconti, Vittorio de Sica or Federico Fellini. In this international section, the catalog has also been enriched with great titles such as The Third Man (Carol Reed, 1949), Murder on the Orient Express (Sidney Lumet, 1974), Death on the Nile (John Guillermin, 1978), The hunter (Michael Cimino, 1978), Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola, 1979), Delicatessen (Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 1991) and Leaving Las Vegas (Mike Figgis, 1995), among others.
How to hire and manage through Movistar Plus+?
Starting today, May 3, 2023, you will find the FlixOlé application directly integrated as part of the Movistar Plus+ main menu and, as we said before, its contents will be displayed in the search engine.
If you still do not have an account, you can sign up for the service through the Movistar Plus+ interface through the FlixOlé application on the decoder, where the contracting option will be displayed. If this is the first time you have contracted FlixOlé with M+, you will have the first month completely free.
Once you have registered, or if you already had an account, you will be able to enjoy its contents both on the UHD deco and on the rest of the devices compatible with the platform: on computers (PC or Mac), tablets and mobile phones (IOS). and Android), on Samsung and LG TVs, on Android TV and Fire TV devices. With your subscription to FlixOlé you can enjoy the service and log in with your username and password on up to 5 different devices and you can play the content simultaneously on up to 4 screens at the same time.
With this integration, Movistar continues to take giant steps to become the platform of platforms. In addition, the blue operator approaches these integrations in a very different way than its main competitors. While these are committed to adding direct access to their own application from which everything is managed, Movistar is committed to integrating the content as if it were their own content. In this way, the user can use a single search engine for everything or see all the content of the different platforms that they have contracted from a single place.
