Find a person on Facebook with a photo using TinEye
If you have the photo of the person you want to find, then you are just one step away from meeting them. Most people have a Facebook account, there are currently more than 2.4 billion active user accounts.
You just need to have a photo, have their phone number, be it from other social networks like Twitter or Instagram. You can even take it from a Badoo or WhatsApp profile.
Now you must use a free online tool. It is called TinEye and widely used for its effectiveness. One of the great advantages that TinEye has is that it not only serves to search for people on Facebook, but also allows you to search for that photo on other web platforms and social networks such as Twitter and Instagram.

Enter the official TinEye page from any browser, you can do it from a PC or from your mobile.
- On the home screen there is a button with an icon in the shape of an arrow pointing up. Click the to enter your PC’s file explorer and select the photo of the person you want to search for.
- The process may take some time as it searches a database that has over 40 billion images. At the end it will show you the results obtained.
- If the search returns many results, you can filter by date and pages where the image is hosted. In the results will be the links to the places where the photo is located and a preview of the image.
Note: Sometimes the page indicates that there are no results. This does not mean that the person does not have a Facebook account. It may mean that you do not have access to the photo because it is set to private.
Find a person on Facebook with the name of a photo
The first thing to consider to find a person with this method is that the name of the photo must have a particular form. The name of the photo must be structured by three numerical parts separated by an underscore or underscore (_). For example:
