Z-Triton is a caravan, a boat and a bicycle at the same time. This curious vehicle, which combines several formats in one, belongs to the Latvian start-up Zeltini.
An amphibious car? A flying motorcycle? No. Z-Triton is a vehicle that combines three formats into one. Can you imagine being able to drive three vehicles at the same time? Well, that is what the engineers who work at the Latvian start-up Zeltini must have thought, the creators of this curious vehicle capable of being a caravan, a boat and a bicycle at the same time.
The three vehicles are clearly visible, merged into one with the idea of being able to travel by sea and land without any impediment. And when the day is done, just use the comforts that a small caravan can provide.
Z-Triton: caravan, boat and bicycle at the same time
The base is an electric bicycle powered by a pair of 250 W motors that are installed. The bike is shaped like a tricycle and the back is actually a small caravan where you can rest from a hard ride.
The bicycle is linked to the caravan by a specific structure and the driver sits almost on a large front wheel, in the style of bicycles from the end of the 19th century. When you want to convert the Z-Triton into a boat, simply raise all three wheels, inflate and position the stabilizers, lower the electric motor from the cabin and go sailing.
Zeltini ensures that the conversion to a boat is done in less than five minutes and that the electric motor supplies enough power to navigate without problems. When it runs out, simply use the attachable oars to return to dry land.
One of the curiosities of the Z-Triton is that the caravan can be used both in the water and on the ground. Zeltini promises that it offers space for up to two adult passengers and that a solar panel is installed on the roof that supplies power to some connected devices, such as a Bluetooth speaker.
And how much is this vehicle that combines a bicycle, a caravan and a boat in one? Zeltini has put the Z-Triton up for sale in some European markets, where it can be purchased from 14,500 euros without taxes.
