A VTC driver was driving through Madrid, while he felt a strange noise in the front area of his vehicle. When he finally decided to lift the hood to locate the origin of that noise, he found an unexpected surprise: a piton in the Cabify’s engine!
This VTC driver was getting ready to start his weekend workday when he noticed a strange noise. In his first look at the engine, he didn’t see anything unusual.
At this time, he decided to go to a Municipal Police station near the area, in case it was an animal that had hidden in the engine compartment of his car. Something that usually happens with cats and some rodents.
They find a python in the engine of a Cabifay
The agents of the police station appeared to try to solve the problem, specifically, several members of the Environment Unit, known as the UMA, specialized in rescuing animals in all kinds of circumstances.
When the UMA agents inspected the Cabify’s engine compartment in detail, they realized that what was inside was a snake and not just any snake, but an albino python.
A study indicates that VTC fleets could increase pollution
They quickly began to rescue the python, not an easy operation, since they had to extract it without damaging it. To do this, they used gloves and a handle with a clamp to gently remove it from the pedal area.
Finally, the agents were able to successfully rescue the python and transferred it to the Center for the Recovery of Wild Animals (CRAS) of the Community of Madrid. Possibly, the animal escaped from somewhere that has not yet been located.
