The Lexus LC Cabrio Hokkaido Edition is a special edition limited to 40 units for the European market that will go on sale in Spain in early May.
Lexus has unveiled a special edition of its convertible sports car, the LC Cabrio, which will have limited production of just 40 units in Europe this year. It’s called the Lexus LC Cabrio Hokkaido Edition, named after the volcanic Japanese island of Hokkaido and includes a number of unique details that make it truly special.
Of the 40 copies that will be marketed in Europe, only two units are reserved for our market. Marketing will officially start at the beginning of May 2022, so it is very likely that the vehicle will sell out quickly.
Lexus LC Cabrio Hokkaido Edition: 40 exclusive units for Europe
As for the LC Cabrio Hokkaido Edition, the name inspired by the Japanese island also refers to the Lexus Shibetsu proving ground, where such famous cars as the legendary Lexus LFA were developed. In fact, the LC was also meticulously configured here by the brand’s ‘Takumi’ master drivers.
Available in Nova White, the Hokkaido Edition features 21-inch alloy wheels and a unique grille, LED headlights and taillights that Lexus calls “afterburner-style”. The LC Convertible’s roof features a striking red cloth option.
Lexus engineers have also configured an interior that combines black and dark red colors as a reference to the island’s volcanic history. Red dominates the driver’s side and black is mostly concentrated in the passenger area.
The Lexus LC Cabrio Hokkaido Edition is equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine with 477 horsepower. This mechanism allows the convertible sports car to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 270 km/h.
Although Lexus has not revealed details about the prices for Spain of this new special and very limited edition, it will be more expensive than the standard model, which has a starting price of 156,500 euros.
