The new National Police manned drone is called EH216 and one of its main objectives is to complete emergency and security missions in strategic locations. Where a helicopter may not be able to reach, they will send the EH216. The aircraft, which has been manufactured by the Chinese company EHang, was incorporated into the Air Media Service of the National Police last year and now we have been able to see it on video.

This same drone weighs about 600 kg and is completely electric. Mount a battery with the capacity to complete flights at speeds of up to 130 km/h, with a range that is limited to just 30 minutes. In this time it can travel up to 30 kilometers with its full charge capacity, a process that takes about two hours. And most importantly, you can take two agents with you on your travels.
The aircraft has carried out different test flights in the police center of Ávila, Valencia and Málaga, all of them without passengers on board. Currently, the National Police and the Civil Guard have been using drones for years to search for missing persons or to monitor the Strait in anti-drug operations. But until now they had not had a drone manned by agents in service or planning to enter service.
