Jeep has not taken long to expand the range of the Jeep Avenger, although for the moment it has been merely conceptual: at the 2022 Paris Motor Show it has presented the Jeep Avenger 4×4 Concept, a variant with four-wheel drive. At the moment its arrival in production has not been confirmed, although it should come true.

On an aesthetic level, the electric car does not have many changes, since it is still the same model, but the usual color combination of the firm’s electrified vehicles has been added, as well as specific details such as the bumper or the wheels.

In addition, the new system that the roof enjoys is striking, which takes advantage of the bars to incorporate straps that allow packages to be fixed by compressing them.

Since it’s a more country-oriented variant, additional skid plates, anti-scratch treatments, tow hooks, larger off-road tires and flared wheel arches have been added.

Its ground clearance has been increased to over 200 mm and this, added to the new bumpers, has also improved its off-road angles: 21 degrees for approach, 20 degrees for breakover and 35 degrees for departure.

Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand CEO, said: “The Avenger has been designed as a Jeep vehicle from the ground up, and the all-electric 4×2 model already offers some of the best-in-class capabilities that identify the Jeep brand.”

“But we couldn’t help but wonder, what if we inject the all-electric four-wheel drive capabilities of the Jeep brand into a compact package while retaining the brand’s unique design language, capability and personality?” added.

In conclusion, he stated: “We have shown that we have a complete portfolio of new fully electric Jeep 4×4 models just around the corner, with one clear goal in mind: to become the number one bespoke electrified SUV brand in the world. that we continue our journey towards achieving our mission of zero emissions freedom.”
