The Ultraviolette F77 is an electric motorcycle developed in India that begins to be marketed on November 24 in the Asian country, according to our colleagues at Rushline. This is the culmination of a project started five years ago by Ultraviolette Automotive, which belongs to Narayan Subramaniyam.
It is manufactured in Bangalore, and it seems that it already has more than 70,000 reservations prior to its launch in more than 190 countries. After their introduction in the Indian market, they will be followed by the North American and the European.
The Ultraviolette F77, which we have already told you about in previous articles, will be marketed in three versions: Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. They are the same motorcycle, but with different aesthetics to satisfy the tastes of different types of users.
Among its definitive dynamic characteristics, highlight its maximum power of 33 CV and acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. Its maximum speed is 147 km/h and it has three power modes: Eco, Sport and Insane.
The Lithium Ion battery has a capacity of 4.2 kW/h, and a range of between 130 and 150 km. It also has regenerative braking, two-channel ABS, adjustable suspension, Full Led headlights and a TFT screen. For its part, the weight of the set remains in a tight 158 kg.
The engine sits in the center of the bike and transmits power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
Aesthetically, it is a motorcycle that emulates the sports naked, with side panels that completely cover the non-removable battery pack and the frame.
