The London-based company has presented its revolutionary charger in Madrid, which can be neutral in emissions

L-Charge, this is the name of the revolutionary charger that solves one of the great problems of the electric car, the lack of charging infrastructure that makes it impossible for many people to buy a vehicle due to the uncertainty generated by not knowing/being able to recharge in a long trip or before an unforeseen event.

It is a mobile solution for recharging electric cars at any point, since you can move and carry out the operation at any point. In addition to this mobile charger, L-Charge also develops other solutions that provide the necessary energy and are installed in a fixed position. In Spain they are marketed with Powen and the options catalog ranges from 260,000 to 1,500,000 euros.

Solutions for large fleets and companies

When you see these prices, you are surely thinking that they are moving away from the consumer who only has a car and that is the way it is. L-Charge (and Powen in Spain) offer these solutions to large companies with a fleet of electric vehicles that either have to charge many cars at the same time or do not have powerful connections to the electricity grid near their facilities.

L-Charge is a global company that develops and produces dedicated charging points for off-grid, multi-fuel electric vehicles powered by LNG, hydrogen or a combination of both. It takes 10-20 minutes to charge a car to 80%. A mobile station can charge 24 electric cars a day.

L-Charger and Tesla

We are talking about a mobile cargo van with a mini power station on board, which uses clean fuels to produce electricity, which allows it to move freely around the city and be called when necessary through the application, in the same way as a cab.

Spain, at the tail of Europe in fast chargers

It is also possible to reserve and assign the mobile cargo van to a convenient location. The mobile charging van provides a super fast charge: from 0% to 80% in 15-25 minutes. A way to solve the problem of fast charging, since in Spain there is a lack of chargers of all kinds, but especially fast ones.

In fact, Spain ranks last in Europe for the number of electric charging points per capita, with only 245 per million inhabitants. Of these, according to external sources, 83% are slow chargers (less than 22 kW), which is equivalent to an average charging time of three hours in most electric vehicles on the market today.
