The benefits of the 125, but without a license.

The SEAT MÓ 50 is the new step in the movement of the Spanish brand to gain a foothold in urban mobility. After the 125cc version of its electric scooter, now it is the turn of a variant equivalent to a moped, with more limited features, but with the same design and the possibility of driving it without a license.

The most relevant is its mechanical section. It has a 4 kW power motor, which offers maximum peaks of 7.3 kW, and 100 Nm of torque. With this you can reach a maximum speed limited to 45 km/h, which you reach in 3.8 seconds if you use Sport mode (it also has City, Eco and a reverse gear to facilitate maneuvering).

The system is powered by a 5.6 kWh lithium-ion battery that gives it up to 172 kilometers of autonomy (in ECO mode). It is removable, has wheels and an extendable grip that makes it easy to transport. It can be connected to domestic outlets, where it charges in between 6 and 8 hours.

Other highlights include the conventional front fork, the single rear shock absorber, the hydraulic combined braking system and electrical regeneration, the smartphone application, the two USB ports and the hood with space for two full-face helmets.

Visually it is identical to the 125, but it is distinguished by the fact that it has two exclusive colors for this version: Barcelona Gray and Tarifa Blue.

Lucas Casasnovas, director of SEAT MÓ., declared: “The new SEAT MÓ 50 brings urban electromobility closer to a new generation of motorcyclists who enjoy the freedom of moving around the city without emissions or noise.”

And he says: “It offers the same levels of emotion as its sister, the SEAT MÓ 125, but in a format adapted to a younger audience, without compromising quality, practicality or connectivity”.

Production of the SEAT MÓ 50 will begin in January and it is expected to be launched during the first quarter of the year, but its price has not been revealed.
