For the 60 years of the company.

Lamborghini is immersed in the celebrations of its 60th anniversary. These are going to be very diverse, but the latest unveiled is especially striking: the Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100, an art-car designed by the Japanese artist IKEUCHI.

Inspired by robot anime and cyberpunk, the first example of that influence is evident in the name of the car, which is ’60’ (for the anniversary) in binary code.

Conceived as a unique vehicle, the work seeks to review the history of the 60 years of the Italian brand, especially taking references from all the previous anniversary models that the company has launched.

It pays tribute to them to such an extent that it uses original parts from these vehicles, such as the Lamborghini Countach 25 Aniversario, the Lamborghini Diablo SE30, the Lamborghini Murciélago 40 Aniversario and the Lamborghini Aventador LP-720-4 50 Aniversario.

Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “We are very proud to present this work of art together with IKEUCHI in this memorable 60th anniversary year. The Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 truly combines tradition and innovation, the past and the future, while perfectly embodying Lamborghini’s values.”

For his part, IKEUCHI, designer of the model, added: “I feel very honored to collaborate with a brand like Automobili Lamborghini especially for its 60th anniversary. It is a brand that constantly strives to shape the future and challenge the status quo as I do with my art.”

“The Time Gazer and Time Chaser were created by incorporating original parts from previous anniversary models and are intended to be a celebration of Lamborghini’s history from the past with the aim of living longer in the future as well.”

IKEUCHI, born in 1990, entered the art scene in the early 2010s and has since collaborated with renowned brands and artists from around the world.
