Honda brings the scrambler concept to A2 users with this attractive new CL500. In this way, it practically covers all segments in this category: the naked CB500F, the sporty CBR500R, the trail CB500X, the custom CMX500 Rebel and now this CL500 scrambler.
The Honda CL500 is really attractive and although the Japanese brand could have been tempted to ‘tune up’ the CB500F or the Rebel, in reality it has made a new motorcycle, which practically only shares the well-known 471 parallel twin-cylinder engine with the family. cc that delivers 47 CV, the maximum allowed for the A2.
The frame is totally new, a steel tubular that also includes the subframe. The rounded tank is newly created, as is the flat seat, with lobed upholstery, very ‘scrambler’.
You cannot miss details such as the exhaust with a raised outlet and a protection plate, the wide and raised handlebars and the round LED headlight, of course.
The fork is a classic telescopic bellows, with 150mm travel. The two rear shocks are preload adjustable and have 45mm travel.
The wheels are made of alloy imitating spokes. They are 19″ and 17″ and have mixed tyres, all in a scrambler line.
The instrumentation is a simple digital sphere, which offers all the essential information.
The new Honda CL500 scrambler is manufactured in four colors: orange, metallic matte green, candy blue and metallic matte black.
As it is a motorcycle that lends itself to being customized, three different packs are offered: Adventure, Travel and Style.
Although they will not be available until May, they can be reserved now on this specific Honda website.
Its price? €6,750.
