Thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter engine capable of developing 840 horsepower, it became the most powerful V8 in a production car, setting a record time in the quarter mile of 9.65 seconds at 225 km/h.
But all of this has been left in the background with the arrival of this Dodge, the fastest, fastest and most powerful new production muscle car in history. This is the new Challenger SRT Demon 170, a car with more than 1,000 horsepower. It uses the completely modified 6.2 V8 engine, so much so that the company says that we are practically dealing with a new engine.
It mounts a supercharger, or Supercharger, of 3.0 liters. And with this, when the ethanol content exceeds 65%, the engine develops 1,039 hp and 1,280 Nm of maximum torque.
