The Ford Bronco VelociRaptor is the version signed by Hennessey, a Texas-based tuner that has increased the power of the 4×4 to 500 hp.
In Europe we are looking forward to the arrival of the Ford Bronco. Although the Raptor version is very difficult for us to enjoy in the Old Continent, in the United States it is the jewel in the crown of the range, a vitaminized Bronco with more power and better off-road capabilities. Now, Hennessey has released a streamlined model built on this vitaminized version, the Ford Bronco VelociRaptor.
Nearly 20% more powerful than the standard model, Hennessey’s Bronco VelociRaptor has taken the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine from the Bronco Raptor and made a number of modifications that boost the numbers considerably from the initial 424 horsepower to the final 507 hp, with an impressive 746 Nm of torque (597 Nm as standard).

“Our customers are big fans of the new Bronco, but they’ve been asking us for more power and greater performance capabilities since day one,” said John Hennessey, company founder. “Ford’s Raptor version is a big improvement, but the engine has even more power. Our engineering team has unleashed its power to create the ultimate off-road SUV.”
Following its debut, Hennessey Performance has completed a testing program to ensure the vehicle can handle whatever owners throw it at. Recent tests included driving through the cold weather of the Colorado mountains, where its performance at high altitudes could also be measured.
Other enhancements to the Ford Bronco VelociRaptor include new bumpers, LED lights, 10-spoke Hennessey alloy wheels with 37-inch tires and special model identification badging. Inside there are also embroidered headrests, all-weather floor mats, and a numbered plaque to identify each custom specimen.
Hennessey’s new custom Bronco Raptor costs $32,950 (29,965 euros), to which must be added the price of the vehicle on which the modifications are made, which costs $73,780 (67,095 euros), so we are talking about of an investment close to 100,000 euros.
