The race takes place on June 10 at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe

The new design of the Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar is already a reality and it has been at the Milan Design Week for the first time. Created in collaboration with artist J. Demsky, an eclectic Spanish artist who has also created a graphic design for the racing suits and drivers’ helmets, it sports a three-dimensional look, with vivid colors and figures made up of pixels.

During Milan Design Week, Peugeot is going to exhibit an exhibition specially created for this event, which combines art and technology. Visitors can immerse themselves in an immersive universe, made up of a series of screens presenting the unique style of J. Demsky’s graphic art and the new life of the Peugeot 9X8.

When J. Demsky was imagining the new 9X8 body design, he was doing more than just decorating a Hypercar: he was sending a powerful message, in the great tradition of vehicles with artistic decorations that have marked automotive history, applying it to a sports car that expresses the best of Peugeot in terms of appearance, efficiency and technology.

The French brand continues to partner with talented artists in this way (the graphic design of the Peugeot 9X8 is the second collaboration of the year and perfectly illustrates the promise that “The world is better with style”).

The unique graphic design of this decoration will participate in the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans, which this year will celebrate its centenary. The 9X8 will thus follow in the footsteps of its illustrious predecessors, the 905 (winner at Le Mans in 1992 and 1993) and the 908 (2009).

The TotalEnergies team has fielded two 9X8s in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) since July 2022. In 2023, for its first full season, the French model is looking for the podium.
