Revealed in India, where it will be initially marketed according to reports from Motor.es, the Comet EV is a small electric vehicle that will position itself as the brand’s range-access option. The car is based on the Wuling Air EV with a series of cosmetic changes that allows it to be directly differentiated from its Chinese namesake.

The body features boxy shapes, a light strip that runs the full width of the vehicle at the front, low-set headlamps, short overhangs, a lowered rear side window and a front bumper with a single air intake. Also, the battery charging port is located under the MG logo on the front.
