From time to time, video game companies experience some connection problems due to maintenance work, so it is something that they usually notify players in advance. But this case is very different, since PlayStation is blocking user accounts without knowledge of the cause and there is no way to claim it.
PlayStation is not going in the right direction, and even less so after having recently removed movies and series from its platform corresponding to subscriptions that users had acquired through the Discovery streaming service. Likewise, many PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users began reporting earlier this morning the problem that their account has been suspended indefinitely and for no apparent reason.
Nobody knows why this situation is happening, which seriously despairs the affected players, whose only hope is to receive an explanation as soon as possible, but they have not yet obtained one from the Japanese company. The controversy is served and the only thing missing is for there to be a statement from some representative figure of Sony.
Accounts blocked on PlayStation without reason
This week there has been a big scandal in the status of some PlayStation accounts. Users have been left speechless to witness that they could not log in or connect to Sony services with their email account.
And worst of all, one of those affected, Michael Dhaliwal, commented on his X (Twitter) account that PlayStation had canceled his account without prior notice, permanently prohibiting him from connecting to the network. “No one knows why!” Exclaims the user, adding that he also has no chance to appeal or receive a response about the status of his suspension. However, this same user later reported that his account worked again by magic.

A user of reddit also suffered a situation similar to that of Michael, in such a way that they ask that the problem be solved as soon as possible so that the PlayStation service is restored and they can continue accessing it without any problem. Other gamers are deeply frustrated for fear of having spent a lot of money on digital games and not being able to play them again.
“The PlayStation account is permanently suspended”
This is the message that affected players received when they saw that their account was completely inoperative: “This account is permanently suspended from PlayStation Network due to violations of the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement.”
Consequently, Sony has not yet acknowledged this altercation on its official blog, nor is there anything reflected on the PlayStation support page about important product and service notices. Nor have we received any email alerting us to this unforeseen event.
For the moment, in this type of situation with so much uncertainty, a little patience is required, since Sony must be the one to take action on the matter and immediately reestablish all those accounts that were blocked without any type of pretext. For now, Spain is exempt from this event, as it has only taken place in territories such as the United States, Canada or France, among others.
