RTVE is warming up for Eurovision 2024 and adding two new channels with a clear musical orientation to its lineup. One of them will be focused exclusively on the musical contest, bringing together all types of Eurovision galas and documentaries. The second will offer a wide selection of timeless musical hits of national and international stature.
Next May 7, it will begin Eurovision 2024. One of the most anticipated musical events in Europe. RTVE wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to, a few days before, present the channel “RTVE Eurovision”: 24 hours of content in which we can relive some of the most epic moments that this contest has experienced.
In addition, and without losing the musical thread, the company has also announced a second channel that will also broadcast 24 hours a day. Is about “RTVE Radio 3 concerts” and, in it, we will find a program with which we can tour some of the most legendary performances of recent decades by artists and groups of national and international stature.
Eurovision Marathon
RTVE has anticipated the official start of Eurovision to launch a new digital channel available through RTVE Play: it is RTVE Eurovision and, in it, we will find all kinds of galas, documentaries and programs that explore the history of the music festival. As well as the most outstanding performances in recent years. Some of the titles that have been announced that viewers will be able to enjoy are, for example, “Tell me. “Story of a song” and “1990, the decisive victory”.
In addition, there will also be room to broadcast programs such as Benidorm Festival either “A good moment”, as well as different galas that have had a great impact on the channel’s musical history. The second surprise comes from the hand of “RTVE Radio 3 concerts”. In this case, it is also a completely free digital channel that will broadcast 24 hours of the day and which will be focused on the broadcast of a large number of classics. One of the peculiarities of this channel is that it will accommodate a large number of genres: being an option to consider for any music lover, regardless of the type of genre in which they are interested.
This channel will host the most outstanding performances by artists such as Pereza, Amaral, Loquillo, Fito y Fitipaldis or Vetusta Morla, among others.
