It is nothing new that different operators are launched over time in specific locations. Although, in this case, Keio Mobile surprises with its mega cheap prices, with the possibility of contracting fiber and mobile, only fiber or only mobile with an annual fee, in addition to the fact that it is one of the official sponsors of the Kings League.

In our country, there are not only the big operators like Movistar, Digi, Orange, Vodafone, MasMovil… there is also room for hundreds of smaller brands that compete for their space in the telecom market. One of the latest examples is this cheap operator Keio, which was launched at the beginning of the year and the truth is that, with its rates, it never ceases to surprise.

Operator and sport mixed

This telephone company is different, as explained in a video on its presentation website, it is the “first telecommunications company inspired by sport”. And there are all kinds of rates, however, as it is also designed for athletes, it offers a free app called Keio Fit. With this, users can have a fairly complete control of their training, nutrition, etc. On the other hand, for users there is no application or panel to have control of their rates.

One of the details that may surprise some, in addition to its prices, is the fact of where its headquarters are located and who is behind this brand. A fact that any user can check. First of all, this firm is run by Gestion Keio Mobile SL, whose registered office is located in a small town in the province of Valencia.

Prices well below average

Once we have set aside who is behind this operator, one of the striking points is the type of payment: annual or semi-annual. Basically, because it gives the customer the choice to pay a year for a rate or, if they prefer, they can pay only 6 months. In any case, this way they ensure that the customer does not go to another operator. And even though there is no permanence in mobile, this type of promotions already make the user stay after having paid in advance that amount to have mobile or fiber, or even both services, for 6 or 12 months.

Mobile rates

On their website you can quickly take a look at some of their cheap plans. For example, you can have 80 GB for a mobile line for 1 year for only 59 euros with Movistar or Vodafone coverage or also 120 GB for 59 euros with Orange coverage. And another important detail is that the rates with Orange coverage are cheaper for customers. On the other hand, and in relation to mobile rates, you can contract eSIM for 3.90 euros or even the MultiSIM service for just 2.90 euros. And as for the mobile network it uses, for example, with Orange you can have a maximum coverage of 4G+.

Fiber rates

And fibre is not far behind. Right now, there is a special offer with which you can have symmetrical fibre of 500 Mbps for only 99 euros per year. Although, in the case of fibre, there is a penalty of 99 euros + VAT for not complying with the 12 months. Therefore, when contracting a fixed broadband Internet rate, you have to keep in mind that you must comply with the year-long commitment with the operator.

Keio Mobile fiber

In addition, Keio Mobile’s fibre has CGNAT. In the event that you can opt for Orange coverage, it turns out that it is hybrid, so you would not have problems with the ports. Although, on their website there is a form with which you can request to leave CGNAT, of course, making a single payment of 15 euros.
