Digi is wowing Spanish users in view of the latest figures that were published weeks ago, but they also hope to captivate the Portuguese in the same way. The operator will soon land in our neighboring country and will do so with the debut of Digi TV, the long-awaited and desired television service of the low-cost brand that revolutionizes telecommunications and is already in the testing phase.
According to forecasts and what has been previously announced, Digi intends to debut in Portugal in the month of November. On that date, its services will be available, for which it has been looking for testers in recent weeks. Among them, one of those that is attracting the most attention is television, especially given that, in Spain, we have been waiting for it for a long time.
Applications now available
Although the contract cannot be carried out yet, the Digi TV applications are now accessible to users on both Android hereAndroid TV from this linkiOS mobile devices here and finally, for the Apple TV platform from the App Store here. In addition, Portuguese users say that the application has also appeared in the catalogs of many of the main Smart television brands, such as Samsung’s Tizen. This first availability, although in the testing process with a definitive launch soon, prepares the ground for television contracting on Digi to become a reality.
Users who have had the opportunity to see the service and explore its possibilities have published the list of channels that can currently be accessed. Anyway, keep in mind that, first, it is a list adjusted to Portugal. And, second, the list may not be complete. To these channels, we should also add the integration of services such as DAZN, which was previously discussed by Digi in Portuguese territory.

As you can see in the images of the application, the channels are well divided by categories so that users have the opportunity to access them comfortably. At the same time, the interface looks very clear, easy to navigate and with good use of the aesthetics that television services from operators usually have. We can also see that there is a secure identification system that will allow us to identify ourselves on our different devices with a PIN code or through online authentication. It is to be imagined that many of these features will be maintained when Digi TV premieres in Spain, although everything is conjecture and no hasty conclusions should be drawn.
What is clear is that this type of news is exciting.
