The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is a limited edition of just 300 units inspired by the 007 movie, ‘No time to die’.
The 25th film in the James Bond saga has been special for different reasons. First because of the number of films produced to date and, second, because it meant goodbye to Daniel Craig in the role of the famous secret agent. For this reason, Land Rover’s SV Bespoke department wanted to pay tribute to such an important film with the Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition.
For this reason and because the Land Rover Defender had a leading role in the film ‘No time to die’ which premiered in October last year. As in other James Bond films, Jaguar-Land Rover vehicles appear on the big screen to star in the action scenes and chases that are so popular in this franchise.
Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition: only 300 units
Returning to the vehicle in question, we are talking about a special edition that will have a limited production of just 300 copies. The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition includes a number of its own details that make it stand out from the rest of the versions in the range, adding extra value to this special edition.
The Bond Edition version is available in both a three-door 90 and a five-door 110 body. The Extended Black Pack with 22-inch wheels in Luna Gloss Black is included as standard, an element that contrasts with the striking brake calipers finished in Xenon Blue and the Defender 007 badge present on the tailgate.
Inside, there are also some distinctive details, such as laser-etched ‘One of 300’ lettering, illuminated sills, specific graphics for Land Rover’s Pivi Pro infotainment system touchscreen and the SV Bespoke logo. Finally, the exterior courtesy lights project the 007 logo on the ground.
Under the bonnet there are no changes and buyers of the Land Rover Defender Bond Edition will get the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine with 525PS of power and 625Nm of torque. It is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission with torque converter and an all-wheel drive system. Go from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km / h.
