In the absence of finding a new job, at this moment millions of citizens take advantage of the unemployment benefit to survive. However, there are certain situations in which we will need to unsubscribe as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the remaining money in the future.
The truth is that hardly anyone likes to find themselves without a job, but on many occasions there is no other choice, at least temporarily. Hence precisely the millions who can currently access unemployment benefits while looking for another job. It must be taken into account that this is an aid that allows us to spend a few months while we continue in the search for a new professional contract.
But at the same time we must take into consideration that there are certain situations in which we will need to unsubscribe. What’s more, this drop in unemployment benefit will allow us to save that remaining unemployment and its corresponding money to be able to take advantage of it in the future if necessary. In fact, in certain circumstances in which we can find ourselves and which we will describe below, they could lead to sanctions if we continue to collect unemployment benefits.
When can I lose all unemployment
There are several reasons why we can lose unemployment if we are collecting that unemployment benefit at that time. This could mean a serious stumble and disgust in the event that we break the laws established by Social Security itself. To begin with, it must be taken into account that SEPE, once you have registered as being unemployed, offers you a series of courses and job interviews that you must attend.
In the event that this is not the case, the agency itself can withdraw your unemployment benefit as it does not see interest on your part to find a new job, something more common than we think. It may also happen that we go abroad, where various situations can be considered if we are collecting unemployment. If we have to travel abroad for 15 days in the meantime, we will be obliged to inform SEPE in order to continue charging as usual. Otherwise we run the risk of losing it. In addition, in this way, on those days, no mandatory appointment or training course will be held as those mentioned before.
In the event that the stay abroad is greater than 15 days, but less than 90 without justification, we will have to request an authorization and payment will be suspended until the return. At the same time, if we are away for more than a year, the unemployment benefit is cancelled, while if we are less than a year and we are still without work, the benefit is resumed.
Whatever the reason why we need to carry out this procedure, let’s see how we can do it comfortably at home and in a matter of a few minutes.
How can I pause the online strike?
Obviously we are going to do all this through the internet, for which we need a connection and our favorite web browser. Once we are connected from the browser we will only have to access the SEPE official website to carry out the cancellation process that we mentioned.
At the bottom of the web interface we find a button that says Request cancellation, which we click on. Now we will have to identify ourselves digitally and officially for those of us who have different routes. We can use the Cl@ve system, a digital certificate or the electronic DNI.
Therefore, once we are authenticated and identified on the SEPE website, we will directly have the possibility of unsubscribing from unemployment for whatever reason. We must bear in mind that the following month we will no longer collect this benefit and we can postpone the remaining unemployment that we still had for later.
