Thousands of users are complaining on social networks: Discord has gone down and it is not known what exactly happened. The only thing that appears when you enter the website is that you have been blocked and cannot access it. But don’t worry, it’s not something that’s happening to you alone. Keep reading and we’ll tell you how the situation is right now and what you can do to solve it.

«Sorry, you have been blocked. You are not able to access Discord.com. The message has already jumped to thousands of users, many of them while they were connected to the famous chat and communication tool. Hundreds of World of Warcraft raids have been left incommunicado and dozens of users cannot continue their conversations. Even AIs like Midjourney, who use Discord as a system to deploy their tool, are suffering.

Discord is investigating

The situation must be quite problematic, since, officially, no detailed message has been published, but only a short notice indicating that “we are investigating the problem.” They have said it so much since Discordstatus websitesuch as from social profiles, in which they mention that they are analyzing what has happened, which is why there are some users who have been left offline.

But it is obvious that “a few users” have quickly become thousands of users and the problem seems to be spreading to most people. As some users mention, it feels like someone has “disconnected” Discord. With the mobile, however, it seems that there are no errors and that everything continues to work without problems.

It has a solution?

It looks like it is. The good news is that, while Discord is still working to figure out what’s going on, there are people who have posted tricks that are working for them. One of them is as simple as restarting the computer. If you try it and Discord still won’t let you in, what other people recommend doing is clearing the cache. In the event that none of these solutions get you out of trouble, the alternative would be to opt for the mobile version, which would be a good time to install in case you don’t have it on your device yet.

And if the problem spreads, covers mobile phones and there comes a time when no one can connect, the only thing you will have to do is have a little patience. It is not the first time that Discord has encountered difficulties or stability problems and, for now, they have shown that their technicians are quite efficient when it comes to resolving incidents. Therefore, the only thing we would have to do would be to pay attention to the web address that we left before or to the Discord profile on X. That will be where they will communicate the news when they have it.

These outages should not be too long, as there are many companies that use Discord professionally and the entity that manages the program is very aware that it cannot let its services be interrupted. It is possible that when the problem is over and everything is resolved, there will be some kind of compensation for users or at least a solid explanation will be provided as to what has happened.

For the moment, the best thing is to take it with a little humor and do the same thing that many other users are doing: take advantage of the opportunity to circulate memes. I’m sure you can think of something with Discord that you can post on your social media profile so that the wait until the network recovers and you can chat again is a little more enjoyable.
