Improves the image of Movistar Plus+
Watching Movistar Plus+ in HDR will only take you a few seconds. And all thanks to the fact that this mode has no mystery and in just three simple steps it can be activated or deactivated from the UHD deco of the blue operator. You just have to know which setting to activate from the device configuration menu.
If you want to activate Movistar Plus+ HDR, then you must follow these steps from its settings:
- Enter the menu and click on the Settings icon.
- Tap on the HDR Settings option.
- Choose the On/Auto/Off tab.
Within this section you can choose between these last three options. It is advisable to choose the automatic HDR option for the deco. This way you don’t have to worry about turning it on or off, but it will work on its own whenever it can. As? This type of technology will be activated only when Movistar Plus+ content is compatible. HDR content

- Enter the content, but do not hit play.
- Check the yellow icons below the name.
- If a logo appears that says HDR, then it means that it is compatible.
On the other hand, if in your case you have already started playing any movie or series, when you pause it, the truth is that these icons will also be visible. So it is another way to see if content is compatible with this technology. You just have to look at the upper left corner.
Why can’t you tell the difference?
Even though the Movistar deco allows you to activate this option from its settings, you must keep in mind that to enjoy this improvement in your home you need to have a compatible Smart TV. Therefore, if your TV does not have HDR, even if a movie or series is compatible with this tool, no change will be noticeable. You will see the contents with the same quality as before.
