This is a problem that, above all, has surprised users because they had not seen it coming. And that is something that never has positive effects among subscribers of streaming platforms.
Silent erase is back. The problem is beginning to be recurring among streaming services. Although there are platforms that have well planned additions and deletions to their catalogs, in other cases unexpected modifications are carried out. In this case, everything indicates that the service has done one of these deletions that has surprised users subscribed to Max.
The house of DC Comics?
When we talk about Max, we consider the service as, among other things, the home of DC Comics. If Disney+ is the home of Marvel, Max is that of DC. And that is a very positive thing, being an important incentive for many of the streaming service’s subscribers. They know that if they want to watch the many movies that DC has produced over the years or all of their series, they can blindly turn to the service. At least, on paper, since in practice the result is not so effective.

Now many users have wondered what may have led Max to decide to eliminate, at a stroke, two of the series from the DC Comics universe. One of them was not very popular and never captivated the public, but the other has been one of the great television successes of DC superheroes. Their disappearance is not only a problem for those who were watching them and have left them halfway, but it is also an obstacle to being able to follow the many crossovers that exist in the television universe of Superman, Flash and many other characters.
Now what do we do?
One of the series that has been eliminated is Batwoman, which, as we said, has not had much impact. Without disparaging the series, which lasted three seasons, it is fair to say that it passed unnoticed. A very different case is that of Legends of Tomorrow, a top-notch series that lasted seven seasons and accumulated more than 100 episodes. If you saw it or started watching it, you will know that it was a real spectacle due to the number of superheroes, supervillains and other characters it brought together. In addition, the production company devoted itself brutally to its development and had a cast of very high-quality actors.
Not only did characters from Arrow and Flash appear, but really popular performers were regularly featured on Legends of Tomorrow. There were Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller giving Prison Break fans enormous joy, Victor Garber and Neal McDonough, to name just a few of the many recognizable faces that passed through the series.
One of the problems with the disappearance of Max’s Legends of Tomorrow is found in, as we said, the crossovers. Because if you want to watch series like Arrow, The Flash and other productions corresponding to the Arrowverse, you need to watch many episodes of Legends. Without them, the crossovers remain completely unfinished and it is impossible to follow the thread. Also, we must not forget that in some of these crossover episodes of Legends of Tomorrow, truly mythical crossovers were carried out.
The bad news is that these series disappear from Max and are not available anywhere else. And wait, because we have worse news. If you are a fan of DC Comics and all this seems like a tremendous drama to you, get ready, since on October 25, Max will eliminate all 10 seasons of the legendary Smallville. Yes, what for many is the best Superman series, one that, by the way, also connected to the Arrowverse, will be leaving Max this month. If you were watching it, at least, Smallville can be seen on Prime Video, but on Max you will no longer have the opportunity. They said that Max was the home of DC Comics, but this type of news makes us lose faith in it a little.
