Many of you already know the tools belonging to the Powertoys suite presented by Microsoft for Windows. These increase the functionality of the operating system in an important way and without having to pay a single euro.
Here we find the so -called toys that will become part of Windows by adding new functions to the operating system. They are typical of Microsoft, so they are integrated perfectly and we barely notice that they are there. Basically it is an open source project of the software giant that we can benefit at any time and for free.
The company does not stop working in its Powertoys, improving the existing functions and adding new tools, as it happens now in the case at hand. And it is that the suite of profits that we tell you belonging to Microsoft is about to receive a new improvement that we will describe below.
In these moments, Microsoft herself works in a powerful multimedia content coding function to the new version she is developing, Powertoys V0.89. We have already spoken to you in many occasions in the past of the arrival of functions to the previous versions of this suite. It is worth noting that the software giant does not stop working in order to improve these additional functionalities for Windows. But not only should we focus on the arrival of new tools, but we must also make special mention to the improvements of those already included.
We tell you all this because for Powertoys V0.89 an important improvement is expected to the already existing tool called advanced stuck. This improvement will allow us to convert multimedia files.

This basically means that when this new function reaches advanced stuck, we can convert audio and video files to MP3 and MP4 from here. From the point of view of a multitude of users, this tool has already demonstrated its usefulness over time. It also proposes numerous tricks in its current state to take advantage of the stuck function in Windows.
But it is also true that the arrival of new stuck actions such as this one that we tell you now, will provide new capabilities when working with audio and video files. There is no doubt that all this will be very well received by most users.
It is worth mentioning that this addition, which will reach the next version of the Microsoft suite, works with both audio and video files. In reality, what it does is extract the audio channel and keep it as a file in MP3 format. Similarly, we can also convert video contents to MP4 format to use the video codec H.264 and the AAC Audio Codec.
At this point it is important to know that the functionality retains the metadata and, as far as possible, the quality adjustments of the multimedia of origin. At the moment we do not know exactly when this advanced glue improvement will be available, what we do know is that it is planned to be included in Powertoys V0.89.
