Movistar and Vodafone sign a positive January in which Digi continues to press

The beginning of the year 2025 arrives with interesting data by the operators. As we are going to mention, the telecommunications sector has enjoyed a first month in which Movistar and Vodafone have been very well stopped in relation to portability.

The month of January has resulted in a continuous way. It is appreciated that the trends with which it ended 2024 continues its course and that the operators continue to star in a market that does not stop portability. In January alone, more than half a million operator changes have been registered, which is a high fact, but in the previous analysis line.

Movistar and Vodafone

The data we read in the information indicate that Movistar is over the month of January with a positive result in the line of what the operator has been getting in the past months. Telefónica demonstrates that it maintains a solid position in the market and, for good service and quality proposals, with football as a flag, continues to triumph.

That migration left its mark on the last analysis, but this month of January the operator, which is recovering very solidly, has made clear the good direction that its business is reaching. As before, it is being appreciated that users seek to improve their rates paying less, but maintaining good levels of quality in the service. Vodafone has surprised in recent months, since it has been flexible in this aspect and has begun to improve its offers remarkably. Other operators are also doing it and, in the case of Movistar, the Telefónica operator continues to take advantage of the big pull that gives him football and a highest quality television service.

The other trend that does not escape anyone is Digi, which has already been strengthened as the fourth operator and continues to press with its cheap rates. And it is not surprising that Digi extends, since we read that more than half of the portions that have been carried out would correspond to low cost services, a land where the operator is giving a lot of war. Finetwork has already advanced to modify its rates, but it still gives the feeling that its competition could do more. According to DIGI data, the operator would have signed 91,000 portions only on their own in January, a notable figure compared to total data. In addition, the Romanian operator would have mentioned that it is the second best figure in its history.

In the case of Masorange, the operator has had a slight descent with the portability figures of January, but it is expected to take time to straighten the results. The fusion of MasMóvil and Orange is taking firm steps and possibly is a matter of time. In addition, their cheaper brands, such as Simyo, may have much to say in the coming months.
