It is, nothing more and nothing less, than the inclusion of all LaLiga EA Sports matches from the 2024-2025 season in some of its trains. This way, you will no longer have to watch a movie on the way down or take a nap, since you will have free soccer games to enjoy quietly in your seat. The channel that will be used for this is LaLiga TV Bar, with which you can follow your favorite team whatever it may be.

Renfe announced it today quickly and, possibly, giving more than a little joy to those who have been about to take one of its trains. And they do it with a bang on the table, since it is unexpected news that is received with open arms. Thus, from now on, all Avlo and AVE trains will offer their passengers the opportunity to enjoy these football matches.
And be careful, because not only are all the LaLiga EA Sports matches included, but the LaLiga Hypermotion matches are also covered. So if you are in the middle of a Zaragoza-Madrid journey with the AVE, for example, you can jump from the broadcast of the Real Madrid match to the Real Zaragoza match or watch whichever one is playing at any given time. And, of course, all the games of all the teams are included.
Exclusivity for football on trains
Renfe has obtained the exclusive right in this initiative to bring free football matches to its trains so that its customers have a clear incentive when deciding how they are going to travel. In addition to the matches that belong to LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion, matches corresponding to the Champions League are also included in the football on the train campaign.
To access them, if you are on one of the AVE or AVLO trains, what you have to do is access the application known as PlayRenfe. This is the one that has the content you want to view and that, on the other hand, is also used to enjoy the free WiFi connection. Furthermore, as you already know if you have used PlayRenfe on any occasion, it is an app that also includes additional content related to Renfe trains.
Along with football matches, in PlayRenfe you can also find movies and other types of content to enjoy while you are traveling by train. That will obviously make the journey time fly by and you won’t even be up 10 minutes before arriving at the destination station. Depending on the schedule, you may even have to be careful not to get stuck inside the train when you arrive at the station. However, what is clear is that it is likely that, when in doubt about what time to travel, those who have a little flexibility are likely to choose tickets that coincide with their favorite team’s matches.
